Holy Mass
Holy Mass is the heart of the relationship between God and man. When a person goes to Church that person leaves the world of ordinary human existence behind and steps into the Holy place set apart for God. There the person remains with others of the congregation, a living offering of the service celebrated before Gods countenance
In Mass we are concerned with a single Person and his destiny, Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Why.. because his life’s work is decisive for our salvation. Jesus is the living Son of God became man. The known life of Jesus of Nazareth is unique. His life and death are known and reliably reported in world history.
At the heart of the Mass is the mystical act of transubstantiation which involves the change of the substance of bread into the substance of the Body of Jesus and of the substance of wine into the substance of his Blood and thus the Mass is no longer a pious memorial but has become a living reality.
Since the 8th century there has been over 150 Eucharistic Miracles of bleeding consecrated host recorded. The Lord Jesus carries out these miracles as proof and reminders that during Holy Mass transubstantiation truly does take place. Read more about the miracles >>
