Devotion
The month of June is set apart for devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. “Divine Love Itself, gave Himself to us to be honored by a very special devotion.” These words of Pope Pius XI refer to the Sacred Heart Devotion, which in its present form dates from the revelations given to Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque in 1673-75.
Eucharistic Adoration
Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament in Ardagh Church Mondays 10am – 12pm & Fridays 5:30pm – 6:30pm. Carrigkerry Thursday 9am – 9:30am. Newcastle West Church Fridays 12 noon – 7:30pm
First Saturday Devotions
First Saturdays Devotion to the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary takes place on the First Saturday Of every month in Newcastle West Church & Coolcappagh Church at 9:30am
